Hohenschwangau Castle
Romantic neighbour to the castle of Neuschwanstein
The beautiful Castle Hohenschwangau is also located at the village of Schwangau near Fuessen directly across from Neuschwanstein castle.The romantic castle was built between 1832 and 1836. Crown Prince Maximilian of Bavaria, Ludwig's father lived here during summer.

König Ludwig II. spends lots of lucky days during his childhood and adolescence. The castle is nearly unchanged, well restored and can be visited daily! If desired, we can arrange (with a minimum of 48 hours) the tickets for this tour for our guests. |
