Monumental Castle in Graswangtal
This castle was finished in year 1878 by King Maximilian II., Ludwig's Father.It is about 45 km away from Hotel Rübezahl. Linderhof castle presents itself with shiney gold everywhere, crystal flambeaus, lots of velvet and porcelain to the visitors. |
Impressive places of the ornate landscape garden are the "Old king lime tree" under wich the king once had breakfast, the Mauri house with the throne of peacock, the Moroccan house as well as the Hundings cabana. You can also see a man-made grotto with cascades and a lake, hidden behind a rock face. This Grotte can be heated and lit up electrically. |
