Alpsee lake

Clear water with esmerald color, this lake is deep up to 62 m. That is a great depth for a lake in the Allgaeu. The Alpsee is located behind Hohenschwangau and between cliffs and woods.

A romantic walk around the lake leads to banks where you can take a break and lie down to rest a while.

In the summer time you can rent a boat or a paddle boat. Anglers, gliders and surfers are also enjoying the good times at and on the lake. During the winter it is possible to practice ice-skating, curling and ice-hockey on the frozen lake.
