The largest lake in Bavaria
The Forggensee, one of the many lakes in the region around
Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein, lain beautifully. The artificial
lake is flowed through by the River Lech and with its 15,2 km² surface,
is the fifth-largest lake in Bavaria.
Fame received the Forggensee by its tourist navigation. The boat drives
on this big lake in two differant routes. You can admire an unforgettable
panorama into the mountain world of the Bavarian Alps and the castles.
