The Allgäu’s diversity of landscape brings with it a wide range of hut tours catering for those who want to enjoy a more gentle walk right up to those who are out to bag the peaks. Some tours are made easier by taking the cable car up part way. The opportunities are numerous: the Tegelbergbahn will take you to the top from where you can walk back down to the valley.
Hut tours are also the ideal way to get children interested in hiking. Cows, calves and sheep grazing the lush Alpine meadows help to make the walk more interesting.
