Welcome to 1,180 meters above sea level! Our mountain hut (formerly Gundhütte) is picturesquely situated on an idyllic plateau on the southern slope of the mountain Edelsberg. Even the way to us rewards you with breathtaking views of Pfronten and promises pure relaxation.
On our sunny terrace you can enjoy the view of the majestic mountains and spend cozy hours in our rustic hut parlors. The Edelsberghütte is not only a popular destination for family excursions, but also an ideal starting point for numerous hikes.

Important Information about Arrival & Dining at the Mountain Chalet
Arrival
The chalet is not accessible by private vehicle.
Guest or luggage transfers to and from the hut are available upon prior request – except during the closing times of the restaurant.
Arrival during closing days
On days when the restaurant is closed, the chalet is only accessible via a hiking trail.
Access to your chalet apartment will be provided via a key prepared for you. All necessary information will be sent to you by email in advance.
Dining & Opening Hours
Our mountain restaurant is usually closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.
Exception: Open on Tuesdays during summer in good weather.
